IT Knowledge Base : eMAILS not being Received

Problem

You have subscribed to Working Group distribution list and you aren't reciving any messages

Solution

1. When you subscribe to a Working Group (WG) distribution list an acknowledgement email will be sent to the address you have subscribed with.

2. To ensure that you receive any emails sent to the WG, you must acknowledge the automated email, sent from ListServ.

 

If don't receive this acknowledgement email please confirm the following

  1. Email hasn't been sent to you spam folder
  2. Email hasn't been quarantined by the company spam filter
  3. Ensure the domain @mail.openmobilealliance.org has been white listed by your IT dept.

How to register to a Working Group email list

  1. Enter Members Portal
  2. Click the Working Group tab of the email distribution list you wish to join
  3. Click Mailing Lists
  4. Click +/- icon against the distribution list you wish to join
  5. Enter your email address & First Name + last name
  6. Click Joint the list
  7. An acknowledgement email will be sent to your email address
  8. Open acknowledgement email and click link to join the distribution list
